Finally... this silly, boring sport of football has mercilessly ended for the season. I can now focus on my true passion- Girls Competitive Basket-Weaving and Knitting. A truly nail-breaking spectacle. Naperville North is ranked and favored to win the GCBWK title this winter. Darla Pugh has hands the size of a polar bear and can weave a basket like nobody's business... and don't forget Alice Crawling, with her cat-like reflexes- she set a national needle-threading record over the summer. I can just picture the girls raising the giant thimble in Champaign in a few months. It will be standing room only. Who needs football!!!!
