The first half problems this team has had for well over a year are just inexcusable. I've never seen a team in any sport start games so flat as this team. And it hasn't just been the World Cup, we gave up a lot of early goals and came back from a lot of deficits to win in qualifying too. He deserves credit for instilling a mental toughness and never quit attitude in the team, but you just can't continue to have to fight from behind. Also, several of his coaching decisions were just bewildering. Why heloved Ricardo Clark and Robbie Findley so much is a mystery to me.
As for who to bring in, we could have hired Jurgen Klinnsmann 4 years. He might still take the job now. Other than that, I don't know. I don't think we need to promote from within again though. We need to go out and hire a European (or South American) manager.</p>
