The Hurricanes have made the playoffs for the last four years. However, they played 14 games in 2013, 13 games in 2014, and 12 games last year. And last year they finished at 5-7. The trend has been going in the wrong direction.

I don't know if their MaxPreps roster was complete and accurate, but if it was, nearly half of their roster will be lost to graduation. That's probably not a good thing.

Looking at their schedule from last year, and assuming there are no changes, I'm thinking 2-8 or 3-7, and no playoff appearance this fall.

How about it Devils, what kind of talent will they have on the team?

Yeah, he has kept a low profile. I can respect his decision to be low key.

Have you heard anything that is reliable about the attendance numbers that may move Sherando up to 5a.

I haven't heard anything reliable, it's also going to depend on a few other schools to determine where that line is going to be between 4A and 5A.

Devils stopped posting a few weeks prior to the Salem game and hasn't been heard from since. This may have been his own choice but I suspect not.

Actually I just chose to not be up here that much. Season was over I was trying to get my girls basketball event up and running. Which it was a tremendous success and we have an even bigger event and schedule for 2017. I coach Girls basketball and our MS season didn't start until February. Priorities had to shift since my son is playing AAU basketball now. My twins are playing t-ball. Add to the fact that my wife works in the Richmond area during the week and I'm taking care of 3 boys by myself, running an after school program, getting ready to be the Principal of summer school, SOL testing coming up, running the stats for the Adidas Uprising AAU circuit (http://adidasuprising.com/2016-gauntlet-series-atlanta-gold-division-schedule-stats/), and practices, the Preps message boards aren't a blip on my radar at this current time. Just checked up here to see what's new.

As far as the Salem game goes I will never get over it, but kudos to Salem once again for winning the game.

They return their top Rec. Armonye Watson who has an SEC offer to go along with is other offers. Their QB has been playing for four years so he's experienced. Other than those two they have some gaps to fill, but Coach Mass is a good coach. Haven't been hearing much from that side of the water, but I know those two kids are good.
