You don't love the Huskers to cover the spread or you think we lose?

I need to see an injury list before I can confidently think Nebraska can cover the spread.

Indiana can't stop the run and their QB is a turnover prone statue. That type of matchup favors Nebraska. I also believe Nebraska, when healthy, has a better offense than Ohio State.

But that's the question... How healthy is Nebraska?

We know Carter and Westerkamp will be out. Moore is questionable. Armstrong spent last week in a walking boot. Reilly still has issues with his groin. Farmer is questionable. Knevel is questionable.

Thanks. Yes the injury list on offense is very worrisome. I think we will win this game if we play solid defense. Not so sure about our offense. Hopefully, we can play keep away and grind out some long scoring drives on the ground.

Full strength I wouldn't be very worried about this game. As it stands today, people better accept that is could be a loss.

Armstrong is the player we need to be the healthiest if Carter and Westy are out...

Farmer and Knevel status sould be improved.. Thought they said Alonzo Moore is ready to go and hopefully Ziggy's ankle is much improved.

All the times playing in Lincoln it's no wonder the B1G conference put our first meeting against Indiana in conference play to be played in Bloomington.

Thanks, NikkiSixx.

Nebraska will have to lay an egg to lose to Indiana. Not saying that's impossible but the way people are talking about Indiana you would think we are playing Bama.

I'm guessing this is Nebraska fans looking for the other shoe to drop? That's the only thing I can think of.

Its more about health. They could potentially be without 3 future NFL skill players on offense, and have at least 4 walk ons starting on the offensive line. That should give any fan some trepidation.

If Nebraska was healthy, I wouldn't be fearful at all. Indiana can't stop the run, and their QB is statue Spread system QB who can't hurt you with his feet.

As long as Farmer, Knevel and Ozigbo are healthy I'm pretty confident we can get the job done. Gotta have Westy and Carter back for Wisconsin.

I feel like we still have more than enough offensive firepower and linemen that can get a push to score enough to win. I really think this Defense is due for a monster game and this is the type of offense that they can do it against.

We should be able to shut down the run game and be able to pin our ears back and get after this QB.

This QB certainly has limited mobility.

Are you serious?
Yes. The qb pressure is still severely lacking. If the staff is going to get major criticism early in their 1st year, I think true Nebraska fans would not be hypocrites and overlook obvious issues.

JP lost 4 Defensive Tackles in one year. He is working with only one guy (Maurice) who had any real experience. And only one defensive end (Freedom) who had experience and D1 athletic ability. They are also VERY healthy up to this point in the season. If you want to blame anyone on the defense it would be the linebackers missing open field tackles. They have been the disappointment the defense this year.

Well...sadly we were told over and over how much better the Dline would be "without those guys"...

I still get a laugh out of that one.

I never post on Husker board so Ill take your word on it but yeah I had no problem with crybaby KW leaving since I do believe he wasn't going to start again this year. However McMullen leaving was a shot to the gut that is still hard to overcome. Not sure who said we would be better, that doesn't make sense in any argument other than butthurt. JP doesn't have a lot to work with. A lot of young and inexperienced guys.

No excuses. If I hear how they get 2 percent better every day, the results should be way better. "There is plenty of talent, I don't want to hear any excuses".... if that was the mantra for paper-thin positions and horrible attitudes last year, it needs to be this year as well. Just because someone used to play here does not mean they should be given a free pass.

Sooo, you fellas need some give points/take points data about myHoosiers? Im'a hep ya out.

Our No1 RB went early to the Bears. Second year in a row that happened.

QB - new juco.

2 staring OL out. One AA out for 5 games so far. Head bump. The other had back surgery. Out for the year. New center.

1starting TE hurt.

No. 1 WR - hurt on first play of the season. Out for season.

(So... excuse me if your offense injury report does make me cry. I'd have to stop to start again.)

Defense - new scheme/newDC. Freshman corner. Freshman safety. Freshman hybrid.

Aw, to ell withit. I can't go on.

Then again, it can't get worse, and the last time I saw y'all we made IM Hipp famous.

We'll show up though.
See ya at the gym.

Ohio State is scoring 50 points a game and is top-5 in total offense. You think Nebraska, when healthy, is that good? That seems like a little bit of an exaggeration to me. Ohio State's offense is the most explosive in the country from top to bottom.

Nebraska no at -4.5

That's a huge swing. Anything below -5 I'd take.
Personally, I wouldn't touch this game and I would be happy with any kind of W. I could see IU winning outright or I could see us forcing a couple TO's early and rolling.
