It was NBC, and Golf Channel definitely knew of the connection (they asked Lipsky about the NCAA tournament and he had to admit his team was not in it), but agree it should have been played up today! Go Cats!

Perhaps they recognized Fitz's limited career at Northwestern? Lipsky played four years and graduated. Fitz played one quarter and turned pro.
