"But the good news was mixed with question marks for coach Houston Nutt,
who is still awaiting word about whether five talented recruits will
make it to campus, including receivers Vincent Sanders and Quadarias
Mireles, defensive linemen Delvin Jones and Bryon Bennett and cornerback
Tony Grimes."

The other four are going to get in, they just have to be cleared. We aren't the only school in this situation.

and it's not a situation, it's a trend. Alot of your higher profile players aren't making it in. Consequently your high recruiting ranking was a joke.

recruiting rankings in general. Sometimes the top guys never make it to campus (Hornsby), or you can't keep them on campus (Patterson). There's too much attrition that goes around to "rank" who has the best recruiting class, because the ranking really changes almost every year for the same class.

at all, everytime they get a commit from someone, they are all asking yancy "when are the new commitments going to be re-evaluated?" What is funny is that when you know everytime you get a new commit that they are going to probably be bumped a star, just add it in your head and come up with the new star total. Instead, they can't wait for yancy to give them a shot of koolaid.

dust settles before getting too relieved. what the c-l doesn't know and chooses to spin negatively about BOTH ole miss and msu would fill volumes. when its all over we'll lose a couple which is of course why nutt oversigns.....its a math thing.

and it appears the dust is settling quickly on the 2010 class, of which the rating seemed to be smoke and mirrors. Just facts, pal. That Clarion Ledger article I linked wasn't an opinion piece. No spin there, even if you'd like it to be.

If you want to see the Rebels implode just wait until State/Rosebowl announces yalls mystery recruit. There will really be some pissed off Rebels then. There is no doubt that in 2 more years that Hootin is going to have us in last place every year and Mullen will have yall in the catbirds seat with Bama. It is going to suck!

Sanders and Bennett are a surprise, but not the rest. Everybody knew this except Ole Miss fans.

And anyway, as of today, they aren't suiting up. So any further speculation is just Yancyesque jibberish.

Has nothing to do with us. The meat of Nutt's recruiting classes either are grade risks or simply don't contribute.
I don't recall that happening too much with us anyhow.

Too bad I won't be able to reply anymore because of the ghey 5 reply censorship.

will you be doing a follow up thread next week if Bennett, Jones, Sanders, and Grimes are all practicing?

because if you call Ole Miss out on something, I would hope State doesn't do the same thing.

That Clarion Ledger article I ]This is the second time I've read something like that on here today. There are a lot of starters and contributors from that class on the team. That's the true measure of a recruiting class.

but what I do know, is that most of star power from the class is not at Ole Miss. Period.

Tell vinnyvegas to sign up and post over here too, that guy trips me up.

So now rankings don't matter anymore, lol. "Starters and contributors", lol. Could you be any more vague, Kiteboy?

I mean, absolutely that's true. I'd rather have players who perform well on the field than some 4 or 5 star bust. Wouldn't you?
