MA (3-2) played a brutal schedule, got injured/suspended, and is still the favorite to win the league (if 4, 22, 1, and 66 (among others), are playing they are very, very dangerous)
ES (1-4) played a very difficult schedule and the offense has picked it up in recent weeks. Their defense is well coached and always tough and they could be favored in every conference game but one (MA) - good showing in second half vs a really good Walkertown team
WS (1-4) played a difficult schedule, injury to their best player (Akers, who I hear should be back), the offense has struggled but Trent does a good a job as any so expect a bounce back on that side of the ball once conference play starts
NS (4-1) lost game 1 to Alleghany who is 4-0 (will see if the Trojans are for real this week when they play Starmount), and beat West Wilkes 7-3 in game 2 (WW's only pts allowed thus far in a 3-1 start), and beat three teams they should beat to finish out the non-conf slate
Bush (2-2) have new life with a new coach in Holder, weak schedule, but seem to be improved compared to the last couple of seasons - Atkins this week to finish off their non-conf schedule (expecting a Win there)
SC (0-5) low numbers, lost by 2 to South Stokes in their best shot at a W, could be a long 5 weeks in Dobson

Agreed. The state did a good job constructing this new conference, tough football conference and almost all games will have great crowds. Looking forward to seeing how this shakes out over the next 5-6 weeks.
