AJ will still make great money, but his temp stay in Oxford probably cost him $ millions today. A WR with his hands could have been on some amazing teams in StarkVegas, making a real difference, and he would have been taught how to run routes.

I’ve been saying it forever. AJ has bust written all over him. Certainly never believed he would go round 1. I’m a little surprised Metcalf is still on the board, but I believe he and Lodge are still better pro prospects than brown.

I'm not looking at my stats but I don't think Metcalf was nearly as productive

as Brown. Yes, he's fast, straight-line and strong (???) but not particularly nimble and questions about his ability to create separation in short to intermediate passing game.

I hope you are right, but if he somehow ends up in New Orleans with Brees throwing it to him I will cheer like a mad man for him.

Possibly less, but hard to know how many passes we would have attempted to him once we realized we had a WR who would make routine catches and the vast majority of tough ones, etc.

In 3 years at State, Bear averaged 4 catches per game and 22 TD's total. In 3 at OM, AJ averaged 5.5 and caught 19 TD's. As good as Bear was for us, do you not think with a talent like AJ we might have found at least another catch-or-two per game for him? Besides, I've got to believe even if AJ caught fewer with us he would have been better prepared for the NFL than he was at OM.

Now imagine how last year likely turns out for us if we had AJ.
