I wasn't going to watch the Yankees last night but they were still playing after I watched a movie. I joined them in the 6th inning to see Sonny Gray had a no hitter going and Rodon had a 1 hitter going yet he was behind 2-0 because of errors. The Yankees rallied to tie the game in the 9th getting to Chapman. After the Yankees scored 2 runs in the 10th inning I laid back thinking the Yankees were going to finally win a road game in extra innings. I should have known better. Boone brought in Cruz. That dude has never had a clean inning unless he enters a game with no one on base. He just cannot get anyone out with runners on base. And he failed yet again giving up 3 runs. Boone should have walked the last Red Sox batter to set up a possible double play. I don't give a damn if it was the top of the Bosox lineup you have to set up a chance at getting 2. They were going to win anyway if the batter put the ball in play so set up the freaking chance of a double play. Instead Boone pitched to the batter who promptly won the game. And Cruz is a damn joke. And so is Boone. I get so tired of them showing him in the same old spot on the dugout steps chomping gum like cow chewing cud.
Got home last night just as the top of the 9th was starting for the hitless wonders. The Sox right fielder did all he could to gift us the game . After the top of the 10th, it looked like the Yankees would steal one. One of the most disgusting losses I've ever seen, and I grew up in nyc during the 50s and 60s watching a ton of games.

Watching the Yankees right now and this team is a joke. They have 1 hit in 5 innings. The Tigers are up 7-0. They have only won 12 road games. On 3 straight plays Bellinger dropped a fly ball, then the Martian collided with Jazz who was barely on the outfield grass knocking Jazz out of the game, next play The Martian ran into the wall. Weathers threw 60 pitches in the 1st 2 innings and 5 runs. Rice and Bellinger are a combined 5 for their last 79. The Yankees are arguably the worst team in baseball right now.
Because Hal doesn't care. He's not like his dad. It's all about profit with him. The Dodgers are now the new Yankees. Spend what it takes to win.
Jazz needs to be on the trading block but I doubt we could get anything in return. He is good for at least one dumb or lazy play per game.
