It's the game of life, my friend... get used to it. More important, IMO, than a BB game... although we can overlook the important stuff for our more immediate rejoices or not!

We have off topic discussion boards for this my freind, this board is for sports . Post this where it belongs

As I have said if Obama has his way, coming to a city near you.

Take this to a forum dedicated to this type of talk. I am sure you could find a forum On Fox,Cnn,Msnbc or some other cable news entity that you could debate this to the cows come home. Vernon has set a side a forum for this kind of stuff debate it over there. This board is for Wvu sports and things that may affect it. Basketball, Football, Expansion and extensions may not be that important in the grand scheme of things but that's why people come here. They don't come here to discuss these matters

If you don't like a thread.....ignore it. Simple.

Act like an adult and use your power of decision making and just don't read it.

By whining about it you just make it stronger.

Why do you think a thread of this nature belongs on a message board dedicated to talking about WVU sports? Especially when this very website has a board made to discuss these type of topics?

Are you kidding me....this board, and all boards, are filled with OT subjects.....OT boards are where subjects go to die. Nobody goes there.

Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it shouldn't be posted. I am sure if you agreed with it you wouldn't be bitching about it.

Vernon will surely lock or delete it but it is not out of the ordinary that an OT subject is posted here, just that you don't like it.

Answer is: don't read it.

Politics and religious discussion is inappropriate in many environments, this one included.

Much different than standard OT posts such as....Does anyone have a good recipe for ribs, or whatever.

I know, self control is not most peoples strong suit. They just can't help themselves. They .....just....have.....to .....read.....and.....react. Almost an addiction

Seems simpler to just ignore and move on but we know that won't happen. People just gotta get offended, it's as if they like it.

I guess, but I think many people come here to spend some time on something they enjoy, and when people creep in with unpleasant topics, it's an annoyance and it's not necessary. There are endless places on the internet to discuss politics, and there's already a board in this forum devoted for it.

There's only a couple places on the internet to discuss WVU and WVU sports.

Your self-control doesn't seem all that strong either. You could ignore their comments as well, so you're in the same boat.

I don't mind OT topics, but mind your etiquette.

I may lack self control but I'm not the one whining about something I can control......not necessarily directed to you

My post wasn't an attempt to incite a riot on this forum. When someone yells out at you..."Ala Akbar" in passing on an Atlanta street as I have encountered, you begin to realize the problem is coming to you (us). I would rather share this concern wherever I can regardless of how (in)appropriate it might be to a particular forum. Sorry if I offended anyone, but if you believe you will be safe at Mountaineer Field or the Coliseum by sticking your heads in the sand, then have at it. I thought my post was merely a barometer of what's already happening and we better be ready for it. Have a safe day!

Personally... ...I think anyone who believes in any religion/God should be expelled from the US.

I'm fine with starting with Muslims and ending with Christians.

Dont know why this thread is on this board but since its here I will have a go...........

Blaise Pascal and his wager is what most people live by but would never admit to it.

Religion in all its trappings has caused more deaths than all diseases combined.

To continue the trend of OT stuff.................Peyton Manning stooped really low to pitch Budweiser beer at the end of the Soup Bowl. He stated that he was going to go kiss his wife and kids and then drink a bunch of Budweiser beer (sorriest junk on the planet). You know dam well he ain't gonna go drink no stinking Budweiser beer but............he must need money real bad. He probably is worth half a billion dollars but remains greedy!

I doubt this ever happened.

And you start a thread basically calling all muslims dangerous and a threat to Americans and say you aren't trying to stir up people on here? Do you assume everyone that posts here is a straight, white, christian male?

I too doubt anyone directed such a comment to a single person. If this did happen, what caused the person to shout such craziness? :boxing: On the other subject................yes, the assumption is that everyone that posts here is at least straight. :boxing:

Are you and numbers trying to suggest that this gentleman has been less than truthful concerning this alleged incident? Well then.................... Count me in that makes 3

“The Meaning of ‘Allah Akbar!'” from Investor’s Business Daily:

“Allah Akbar!” cheered Egyptian Muslims while trampling the remains of dozens of Christians eviscerated in last Friday’s suicide bombing. Yet we’re assured that the phrase has nothing to do with Islam.

Video taken at the gruesome scene outside a church in Alexandria, Egypt, clearly shows local rubberneckers whooping it up as they shout “Allah Akbar!” — Arabic for “Allah is greatest!” We heard the same celebratory chant from Palestinians and other Muslims around the world as the Twin Towers burned.

The list of Islamic terrorists heard shouting the phrase before launching attacks is long. The 9/11 hijackers themselves screamed “Allah Akbar!” before crashing their planes. More recently, Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan was heard crying “Allah Akbar!” before massacring 13 fellow soldiers at Fort Hood.

Never mind all that, say apologists intent on separating Islam from terror. The expression is benign, they insist.

Warez, Peyton Manning own two Budweiser distributorships in Louisiana. He was just helping himself like any good American entrepreneur would given the great opportunity he had. He probably does drink the stuff.

I can only say that if Peyton drinks the shoot he keeps a dadgum headache............24 hours a day. What kind of guy states that he is going to hug and kiss his wife and kids and then head for the all you can drink Budweiser bar? He is an idiot!

I have to laugh. I've been shot at twice and hit once. I grew up with guns but mostly a long gun and a shot gun... only used for deer and birds. I now have a concealed carry permit which protects me, to a degree, from ******** like you... not that you, personally, are a threat... rather you create an environment that allows it. I only recently got the permits since I was out-gunned in every other scenario. I boxed in college and have a black belt in karate. Always felt pretty well equipped to deal with most situations. The tide has shifted, I'm sorry to say. The bad guys don't want to duke it out anymore. Who is the *****... ***** boots?

Whatever happens, you should be prepared for it. I choose to be... and I'm as normal as you can get, I think. You can choose to disagree. I'm not one to go down without a fight.

You have the right to your opinion but this thread belongs on the OT board and not on the sports page and if this matter is more important in life as you state then maybe you should find a more serious forum then a sports message board. my advice to you is when your not watching wvu sports you should stop watching the false prophets of cable news channels.

PS beware of Furniture
