One of the OSU lineman offered up some bulletin board material last week about how the SEC defenses are not in shape for a high-paced offense. But the question can be returned to them: "How is their defense's conditioning?"
OKSU are going to try to up the amount of plays run during the game. They score faster but their defense stays on the field longer. I'm convinced that there is no drop-off with our first and second team defense. But how many times can their defense hold up after drives of 5 plays or more with limited rest? When the opponent controls the ball for almost 2/3 of the game? The more plays that the offense runs conversely means the more plays that the defense plays.
