The difference is they were ILLEGAL. This notion that liberals support illegals is the lie you tell yourself to prop up your own prejudice. Stop lying and you might not look so foolish.

Yet, Hondurans, Nicaraguans, Argentinians, Mexican nationals, even some Iranian nationals who entered the country across the Mexican border were not "sent back" or even "denied entry".
They were all just as illegal, and in some cases likely dangerous, yet many of them ended up in so called "sanctuary cities".
Why not enforce the immigration Laws equally, as many on the Left always insist? (equality for all) Could it be that many of those Cuban nationals oppose Leviathan or at the very least don't support Socialism which they were trying to escape?
But the Terrorists being held in Gitmo...oh let's free them.
