Obama signs record breaking $60M book deal

and is now going to get paid over $3M for a speech. I thought this guy said:

Obama: “I do think at a certain point you’ve made enough money”

I guess he doesn't practice what he preaches. It's good to know he apparently loves capitalism for himself, but not for others.

I don't know who buys these books. The same goes for all the political pundits that write books and sell a lot of them. Why would somebody buy one of these things? Even if you like the person you can get pretty much an infinite amount of info about them or their opinions for free on the Internet. What could they possibly put in these books to make people want to drop $30 on one? And even if there is something good, when the book is released the book reviews tell some of the good stuff anyway.
