So then isn’t that request denied then? Otherwise why’s he have to ask?

Now you're on to something. The unmaskings didn't have to do with the Russian phone call, the call transcript was an FBI product, unrelated to NSA unmasking. Russian conspiracy was closed 1/5/17. Biden unmasked 1/12/17. What the hell for?

You'd have to be a naive idiot not to think that they knew who they were seeking to unmask, and that curiosity got to them all.

Wasn’t this a phone call concerning the sanctions just applied to Russia for meddling in the election, and those sanctions being lifted? I’d say I’d want to know

No, it wasn't. That was widely publicized through the FBI prior to that.

Implemented by a Republican President, voted into law by a Republican Congress.
Right after 9/11. A lot of things are passed after a tragic event. There was stuff passed in the Obama time period after the housing collapse that wasn't right too. I'm sure there's going to be something screwy due to this.

Slow your roll Billy Joel, you’re gonna get ahead of the rhythm. All I have been made aware of this week is a list of the unmasking requests made on the Flynn sanctions call during transition. Can’t you just wait for Durham’s findings - before you brag about the truth n all? If it’s true, there’s no way it can be hidden anymore from an aggressive President, a loyalist AG, and an SC - no? This should be fairly simple. So I don’t get all the little boy “I told you so” poppin all over this week. A request for an unmasking is a routine thing I’d imagine? Leaking to the press is the issue, no?
You are guessing, I'd imagine.

Durham's findings aside if there wasn't an aggressive President, a loyalist AG, and an SC, what would the media say about this or Obama loyalists. Obama loyalists here, and a loyalist Obama AG?

Now my prediction, which means nothing, is Durham finds more crimes and nothing gets done. Our politicians have become what you read about in other corrupt countries. Hillary and BO were dirty paraded as great Americans. ********!

Nah, you’re a Republican when it suits you. Just like I am. Vote by vote. Let’s try to get away from the team- ****. You don’t separate Liberals from Democrats.

Yes I do. AOC is a socialist. Pocahantas is a liberal. Obama is a Democrat.

Yes there was. Exactly why would he need anything unmasked?

Blatant system-wide pattern of abuse of a law for our "safety".
He’s a VP, is he “sleepy Joe” in it for money, or too aggressive? Whatever - I don’t care what a VP wants to know while still in office, or even after he leaves office, to be honest, I care about the process by which his request is approved and what he does with the information. If it was Biden that leaked - sink his battleship, otherwise, your just using it for campaign dirt, imo.

I'm not Republican. I'm conservative.

LOL!

You're a trump supporter.

The Trump administration has reportedly asked Congress to permanently reauthorize all provisions of the USA Freedom Act, including a controversial National Security Agency program that collects and analyzes records on millions of Americans' calls and texts in an attempt to thwart terrorists.

In a letter, dated Wednesday, to members of the Senate Judiciary Committee and Senate Intelligence Committee, outgoing Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats acknowledged that the NSA call record program had been suspended but urged Congress to extend its legal authority anyway, according to The Hill.

expanding this a bit, all are democrats and all are liberal but two are socialists while the other probably is a closeted socialist.

Similar to where I was going. Obama is a politician with the same belief set as AOC. He knew he can only get away with so much. AOC is a wrecking ball. Pocahantas can go either direction depending on the wind.

And I disagree with another of Trump's policies. He's still 1 billion times better than cankles ever dreams of being. And he's still your president.

Now if you were to extend that assumption/accusation to the Bush family dynasty and Cheney, I’d be much more open to hearing and seeing things through that perspective.

Bush was a Republican, not a conservative. Some would even say a RINO. If I were a psychiatrist, I'd say he only wanted to be loved.

But you know as well as I do that the administration apparatus of Regan, HW, and W all had connections to each other and the power elite of the private sector in the US. My point is if there was ever decisions made for establishing and protecting a clear avenue of government corruption and control unfettered by the electorate (that licking big was suggesting) it would have been done easier with that type of continuity of high government positions over multiple administrations, and private business power. So saying O and Clinton are as such, makes sense to me, but only if you include administrations prior and in the middle of those two as well.

voters put the Bushes in office so there is no dynasty. This isn't North Korea.

And neither Bush had the protection the media gives Obama et. al in spite of knowing they are dirty cops. They are complicit if they are silent about it.

First off, I am not one of the guys. I may voice my displeasure for the corrupt nature of Hillary and BO as well as the quasi-pedophile nature of Biden, but I ain't one of the guys. I didn't support Trump but I certainly supported what he did for blacks and my investments. Then again, I am not really trying to convince anyone to believe me.

I get it. You are not accepting of the way things are when they don't benefit you yet you are if you win. To not hold your side with the same expectation you are trying to hold your opposition to is pure and simple, hypocrisy. But, hey, I am judging because you sound like you know your ****.

Fair enough. I’d appreciate it if you were specific about what it is about reality I don’t accept. And though I surely understand the power of the media, I also recognize that BO and all liberals/ Democrats were and are constantly chastised by FOX news and the like (and before you throw a bunch of letters at me - it’s bragged about many many times on here alone that FOX is the highest rated news network), so I don’t think it’s absurd to say that in regards to politics - conservatives and Republican get just as much (or maybe even more) cover and support from “the media” as BO or Hillary.

Now, licking big, you were talking down to me just yesterday I think about not maintaining a linear conversation in my threads (even though, with so many commenting it does tend to get a little difficult), so I’m trying to understand where Trump’s record or efforts for blacks or your investments fall in line with the accusations of deep state shadow control over actions from top brass within our nation’s DOJ and IC?

Now, I admit, in my desire to see Barrack Obama use his historical position and charisma to change the rusted structure of our political system, I was hypocritical to believe his acceptance of deep pocketed lobby capital could be ignored once he took the oath. However, once I realized it wasn’t the case, I chose not to vote him a second term. As far as the topic at hand, in the attempt to maintain linear civility and respect to posters like you who are obviously more intelligent than myself, my point all along is that it EITHER has to be a structure of invisible government supported by power players in BOTH parties, or it simply cannot exist.

I just don’t think it’s logically sound to believe that this type of invisible shadow government can maintain under both party leaderships, unless recognized and accepted by both party leaderships. Comey, Mueller, Clapper - if THE, PAXXX, DOG, DAVE’s et al theory carries any weight in my mind - it means Trump is literally attempting to burn down a structure supported by BOTH conservatives and liberals, Republicans and Democrats that have held high office for the last 3-4 decades and maybe even further back. To tie this off as JUST a Obama/Clinton/liberal molestation of our political structure, to me, is ridiculous and illogical. Any talk otherwise sounds partisan to me, and so I meet it with partisan thinking as well.

Now in an attempt to address your non-linear assertions: I vote Dem more than Republican because I am concerned for the planet’s health, I don’t trust corporate America, and I believe in public schools and working class support, and Dem policies seem to align with those more often than not. I have plenty of non political reasons to not like Trump as a man, but as a politician I don’t see much that is different. Now if he burns down this invisible shadow government in a way we all can see - that will change.

An I’d love for you to explain in detail what it is he has done for blacks and your investments that you cherish so much. Because if it’s just “record unemployment”, and high stock gains, I’m sorry, but, imo, it’s as simple as Trump throwing some gas on a burning fire and taking credit for the warmth. Let’s see how he deals with the down cycle too (not the COVID induced) before we rave about his genius.

I’ll respond on the black support part.

- Financial support for HBCs
- Criminal Justice reform
- Attempting education reform via Charter and Voucher programs
- Urban enterprise zones which saw black small business ownership increase, especially in depressed area that needed it. This coupled with the regulatory and tax changes greatly benefitted small business. It’s literally the “hand up” approach vs. the “hand out”.

It's not just the number. It's who was doing it, and why. I don't trust unsourced numbers from WaPo either, when they say 2015 and 2016 aren't available (they are). 2019 is available, too. It's less.

Criminal justice reform I’ll give ya - although it’s been an agenda from the left for some time now. DJT gets the credit.

All else needs time to determine if it’s success or not, no?

African-American unemployment was at the lowest rate since it first had been tracked decades ago before the Wuhan virus ravaged our economy. Don't you find it interesting that this rate was lower under Trump than it was under the faux first African-American President and the real first African-American President?
