Now if you were to extend that assumption/accusation to the Bush family dynasty and Cheney, I’d be much more open to hearing and seeing things through that perspective.
Bush was a Republican, not a conservative. Some would even say a RINO. If I were a psychiatrist, I'd say he only wanted to be loved.
But you know as well as I do that the administration apparatus of Regan, HW, and W all had connections to each other and the power elite of the private sector in the US. My point is if there was ever decisions made for establishing and protecting a clear avenue of government corruption and control unfettered by the electorate (that licking big was suggesting) it would have been done easier with that type of continuity of high government positions over multiple administrations, and private business power. So saying O and Clinton are as such, makes sense to me, but only if you include administrations prior and in the middle of those two as well.

And though I surely understand the power of the media, I also recognize that BO and all liberals/ Democrats were and are constantly chastised by FOX news and the like (and before you throw a bunch of letters at me - it’s bragged about many many times on here alone that FOX is the highest rated news network), so I don’t think it’s absurd to say that in regards to politics - conservatives and Republican get just as much (or maybe even more) cover and support from “the media” as BO or Hillary.

Now, I admit, in my desire to see Barrack Obama use his historical position and charisma to change the rusted structure of our political system, I was hypocritical to believe his acceptance of deep pocketed lobby capital could be ignored once he took the oath. However, once I realized it wasn’t the case, I chose not to vote him a second term. As far as the topic at hand, in the attempt to maintain linear civility and respect to posters like you who are obviously more intelligent than myself, my point all along is that it EITHER has to be a structure of invisible government supported by power players in BOTH parties, or it simply cannot exist.
I just don’t think it’s logically sound to believe that this type of invisible shadow government can maintain under both party leaderships, unless recognized and accepted by both party leaderships. Comey, Mueller, Clapper - if THE, PAXXX, DOG, DAVE’s et al theory carries any weight in my mind - it means Trump is literally attempting to burn down a structure supported by BOTH conservatives and liberals, Republicans and Democrats that have held high office for the last 3-4 decades and maybe even further back. To tie this off as JUST a Obama/Clinton/liberal molestation of our political structure, to me, is ridiculous and illogical. Any talk otherwise sounds partisan to me, and so I meet it with partisan thinking as well.
Now in an attempt to address your non-linear assertions: I vote Dem more than Republican because I am concerned for the planet’s health, I don’t trust corporate America, and I believe in public schools and working class support, and Dem policies seem to align with those more often than not. I have plenty of non political reasons to not like Trump as a man, but as a politician I don’t see much that is different. Now if he burns down this invisible shadow government in a way we all can see - that will change.
An I’d love for you to explain in detail what it is he has done for blacks and your investments that you cherish so much. Because if it’s just “record unemployment”, and high stock gains, I’m sorry, but, imo, it’s as simple as Trump throwing some gas on a burning fire and taking credit for the warmth. Let’s see how he deals with the down cycle too (not the COVID induced) before we rave about his genius.
