The point is that cost have been transferred to the patient. The deductibles are even greater now. Since Ocare deductibles have skyrocketed, we are paying for things we don't need and don't want. We ahve no choice. If you think it's better, the people don't and they have spoken very loudly in the last 3-4 elections. You cannot insure everybody and we shouldn't even try. Trying to cover everything has hurt our economy and jobs. If the repubs ignore the reason they were given the houe, senate and wH, then the dems will be back in power.2203-2011 spans both presidents, with the majority of it being Bush
Leave it to cuntrytard to make the dumbest post in a thread. Congrats Mr. Blart.Really? You want to start discussing costs to the taxpayer from stupid **** from presidents?

I didn't say I think it's better ... I'm saying that the evidence you provided doesn't show any data that anybody could use to discern how much of that change was under Bush and how much was under Obama. Also, it goes until 2011 ... when did the ACA actually become law? At best I think your data covers one year of ACA, if even that. It may cover none at all.
How the GOP got both congress and the WH is a lot more complicated than healthcare. The funny thing is that since they've taken over and started their repeal and replace, the majority of the population is in favor of Obamacare.
All we hear about is all the instances of costs going up ... and it is always the staunchest GOP supporters that talk about their premiums skyrocketing, while ignoring that their premiums have always been skyrocketing as has already been shown in this thread. Those skyrocketing costs are exactly why the ACA was put in place ... it didn't do a good job of what it was intended to do, but it didn't invent problems that weren't already there.
You guys act like healthcare was just fine and the ACA was a solution to a problem that didn't exist ... while it isn't actually a solution, there was indeed a problem.

The graph didn't copy and paste like it showed in the study. Sorry. Premiums do increase, but we got what we wanted if we wanted it. I don't need maternity care and neither does my wife. If it was such a good law, dems would be in power.
People didn't vote solely on ACA ... criminy there are tons that vote only on abortion and 2nd amendment
