That's great news! It will not be good news if Obi earns much significant PT this season, as that would mean guys with much higher ceilings greatly underachieve. Harry, Amile, Chase, and Bolden should cover every meaningful post minute save a handful of small line-IPs where Jayson may play some default 4.

I hope Obi looks good enough in situational PT that he projects as a valuable contributor his senior year.

Really hoping for a speedy recovery for him! He seems like a great kid and his teammates definitely love him.

I wouldn't think so, because he would have likely done that last year when he could barely play. He has already set out a year from the transfer, so maybe he is reluctant to do so again.

But why rush back? Yes, he has the summer and early fall to recover, but get yourself back into playing shape.
