O'bryant and the MS kids for 2011...

Johnny O tumbled big time down to #24.

Deville Smith jumped up to #48. (MSU)

David Gardner is #49.

Tyler Adams is #67. (Duke)

LeAntwan Luckett is #72.

Rodney Hood is #100.

LaQuinton Ross is #43.

All are 4* players except for Obryant, who is barely still a 5*.
Pretty sure everyone except Smith dropped in the rankings, and a couple dropped a lot.
Still, MS has 7 players in Rivals' top 100...that is impressive.

At the risk of being like Fish and beating a point to death- we really need toland more than just Smith. And perhaps some size(especially assuming Moultrie doesnt come to MSU) will be needed.

I'm thinking that surely we are in good with Hood, and I would be surprised if we didn't land him. Last I heard on here about O'Bryant was that he was pretty much OM's to lose?

I think we get Luckett,Hood, andAmmons for Vicksburg. I think O'Bryant is going out of State and we still have a shot at Adams if Duke can get another Big man.

I've heard from a pretty good source that we still have a good shot at Adams. His grades are low to a point where he will have trouble getting cleared at MSU. The likely scenario is that MSU gets him in the end and we send him to prep school for a year.

I met Adams the other night in Brandon, and he said it was between Duke and State. He said he was committed to Duke now, but he hasn't signed papers so he still might change his commitment to us. He was asking me about how I liked State. For whatever that's worth. He is a big kid

If his grades are so low that he will have troublebeing accepted into MSU, why is Duke offering him a spot?
They simply dont offer, much less recruit, players that are trouble in life or class. Odd.

Truthfully I am not really sold on Johnny O. Ive watched him play and he seemed a bitoverrated. His offensive game is very average not really 5 star material. Rodney Hood would be a great pickup.
