1) Thank god Phil Turner is on our team.
2) If Kodi could post up and play with his back to the basket, our team would add another dimension that I think we really need.
3) For as bad as JV played, he more than made up for it in that last minute of the game.
4) Why did we only play the 2-3 zone for about 5 minutes? It significantly slowed their scoring.
5) Wendell Lewis (not just this game, but all of his other games) might be a HUGE steal for us. He's very talented.
6) John Riek (pronounced Reek, by Coach Cunningham in pre-game luncheon) is really tall... and showed some athleticism while warming up. I was slighly impressed with how he moved his body practicing posting-up.
7) This win, along with potential wins at San Diego and WKU could be the difference in a 3 seed or a 7 seed come March.
8) I hope I never have to set foot in that gym again. It was surprisingly loud, even at about 1/3 capacity. I couldn't imagine how loud it would get with a packed house.

That's gotta be one of the toughest arenas in the country, Mizzou. I walked in when we played them in football back in 04 or so just to see where Phi Slamma Jamma did their thing. Probably the lowest ceiling you'll see in a division 1 arena. It felt like you were walking into Gayfer's or something. I felt like the arena alone would be worth 5-10 points for Houston. I can see why it is very loud.

Well they had only 6 TOs, we had 19. They played about as good as they can play. Both teams didn't shoot well, so besides the shooting they gave us their best shot with their best players scoring alot of points. It's a good win for us. But it's very frustrating how bad we played. Many of those turnovers we're unforced and because of a lack of focus and trying to do dumb ****.
