1. Really disappointed with Mullen yesterday. His body language was awful in the first half. We came out flat and he just stood there with his hands behind his back. Very passive. He doesn't have to be rah rah guy, but we clearly needed to be shaken out of our fear/stupor/whatever and he didn't do that.

2. Clearly our o-line is who we thought they were. It looked like a 2 star line vs a 5 star D line.

3. How many times will we play cute against Bama before we learn? Maybe they wouldve bottled up our inside run game (see point 2) but man I'd rather lose doing what we do best rather than running Jameon and Holloway.

4. Dak was exposed yesterday. When he can't run he isn't a game changing passer. He's not accurate enough to beat anyone consistently with back shoulder fades down the field. Bama dares us to beat them through the air and we couldn't. He's got to improve there next year.

5. We left a lot of points out there on offense but our defense played great. We just couldn't get that last stop on that final Bama drive. But they kept us in the game. Could've been ugly if not for their lights out effort. We are going to miss Benardrick. He and B. Brown are simply awesome.

6. Disappointing to be so close and not play our best. Not sure if our coaches need better motivational methods or psychology or what, but you can't have your team start the biggest game in program history like that. I don't think we get in the CFP at 11-1. Too much anti-SEC bias sentiment. But this can still be our best season ever with a win at home and in Oxford. Hopefully we aren't hungover from the disappointment.

Alabama has a pretty good defense. Their offense is good enough

I just don't understand this sentiment. The Committee has been very fair to the SEC so far. Remember, every non-SEC fan in the country is equally convinced that there is a pervasive pro-SEC bias.

We may or may not get in at 11-1 (I think we probably would), but if we don't, it's won't be because of some phantom anti-SEC bias.

Oh, don't confuse them with facts on this. They're determined that there's some anti-SEC conspiracy. Never mind that the playoff rankings have had an average of 2 SEC teams per week in the top 4 and neither the AP or the coaches polls dropped us lower than 4th. I doubt the playoff poll drops us lower than 4th either. TCU got hurt twice this weekend. They barely beat a terrible Kansas team and their "good" non-conference win got beat badly.

Sorry, bud, but you are overly negative about this one. There are things that need to be worked on, yes, but damn Alabama is a good team, especially at home. We can't be perfect every time out. It is what it is.

Too negative, we played poorly and lost

By five to who the taking heads now say is the best team in the nation and at their place. I hope we get to play them again.

We beat Vandy soundly, which should happen, and beat the Bears and we're in. But we've got to beat the Bears. I don't think Georgia gets in even in they win in Atlanta. Bama may be #1 after they win the SEC.

We didn't run Jrob early for whatever reason. We got on the bad end of field position, and paid for it the whole first half. Add to that we couldn't manage a first down to even begin to flip it.

Saban came in with a plan to stop the Dak run with 6 in the box, and take his chances. Stop his run, and make him throw. They did that very well, and we have to learn how to make things happen if the Dak run isn't working. They also defended the option very well. Our Wr could not shake loose from man coverage. I felt they did a really good job up front. I wish we would have given it to JRob more early in the game, and we didn't commit to that in the first half.

Played so much better in the second half, too many turnovers to win against a good team on the road. The two or three Blake Sims scrambles on 3rd down on the last bama drive were the crucial plays of the game. If we stop them there, we win even with all the turnovers. Hopefully, we learned a lot from this game.
