Bulldog basketball fans... 3 questions I have... 1) do you actually 'attend' MSU games (ticket holder) ... 2) are you a bulldog 'club' member... 3) do you know MSU basketball history before 1990 , when Stansbury arrived ??????

That sounds similar to a certain situation regarding a former coach who wanted an assistant to take his place.

1. No
2.no
3. Yes

Typical MSU fan who relishes mediocrity.
Funny how people think you have to be a season ticket holder to recognize a ****** coach.

I went to swan lake after it was official we weren't in. The red *** over there is comical. We got screwed by the committee, etc etc. It was as simple as looking at our RPI & SOS to know we weren't getting in.

Stans problem isn't wins and loses and tournament appearances. It is the 17n dumpster fire that has been this team for two seasons now. It is a unique situation and fans are tired of it.

But if people want to compare to Williams and Stans, compare the handling of Dontae JOnes and Sidney.

NCAA Sweet Sixteen appearances with Mr. Rick as the head coach? Z E R O.

Mr. Williams made it twice.

If you are going to claim Williams was successful because of Stands, then why in the 17 has Stands not been able to do **** as the head coach?

Der- I laughed at that becaused it's so true.

We have so many fans that believe that just because they hold season tickets and have decent seats after going to MSU sports for 40 years that they somehow have more knowledge about the program than others. And the other thing that blows my mind is how entitled they act. You're sitting in a seat. Congratulations! If they went up to Rick Stansbury right now, I doubt Rick would even recognize who they were, and if he did recognize them, I doubt he would even know their name. They try to come across as knowledgeable, but they really come across as arrogant and in many cases ignorant.

It's what I call the Bermuda Golden Triangle.

And the ironic thing about our fans is we have so many fans that will stick by a coach- even if they go 0-12 and lose to Ole Miss 45-0- but the first bad pass our QB throws- "Time to give the real deal kid from Georgia a shot."

Enter Rodney Hudson, who saw his first collegiate pass go as an interception.

I didn't start following basketball until the early 2000's (me not being a huge fan of the sport and all).
