I thought Dana H called a good game and the plays were there for RB’s and short passes (scheme). The passing game to WR’s downfield was a bit underwhelming. Too many drops and very little separation.
He adjusted. He stuck with the run early and was glad he didn't go pass happy on 1st and goal. He tried to get cute at one time then went back to the run. He wants to throw first and it's gotta be killing him inside but I also think he has improvedI thought Dana H called a good game and the plays were there for RB’s and short passes (scheme). The challenges of this team will be inside the tackles and throwing downfield. Dana basically did what AC does well...roll-outs, designed runs..those won't be there against good defenses...but honestly we might only play four or five good defenses.I thought Dana H called a good game and the plays were there for RB’s and short passes (scheme). I don't mind a first down deep ball from time to time.I like Dana a lot but was disappointed with how many first down pass plays he called.

He covered that 10 yards on the TD run pretty damn quick after he made the corner. The kid can make plays out of nothing, but is also capable of bone headed decisions. Very TMartish, but AC has better chops in the passing game. Of course opponents lived in fear of TMart breaking big runs. Colandrea’s feet will extend drives.I didn't think he had many designed runs at all did he? Maybe 5 ish?

I hate to say who he reminded me of yesterday….Luke McCaffrey at QB. Luke didn’t have the RBs or line we have now though. He covered that 10 yards on the TD run pretty damn quick after he made the corner. What made you think of McCaffrey? I think McCaffrey would easily throw two picks in that game.I hate to say who he reminded me of yesterday….Luke McCaffrey at QB. Luke didn’t have the RBs or line we have now though.
I thought he would give me more of a Joe Ganz look but he’s probably better than Joe was.
Yep. Just his stature and quickness. He looked tiny but he’s very quick. AC made some Luke like mental errors a couple of times too. Here’s the deal with Luke. With Tom as his coach running Tom’s offense, he could have been a Heisman trophy winning QB. The kid’s a starting NFL WR now. He could have been a great option QB. JMHO worth exactly nothing. What made you think of McCaffrey? I think McCaffrey would easily throw two picks in that game.
What did you think of Stoudmire on D? I thought he was stouter than I expected. And none of the playing calling has anything to do with the Defense alignment and any RPO's that might have been run?
Joe was really good in his short time because he could throw from multiple arm angles, accurately while moving. Joe didn't play his first years because he wasn't a good conventional qb...was short, undersized, weak arm but once the play broke down he was really good. AC requires designed roll-outs and doesn't seem really great at improvising and throwing and on the move from multiple arm angles. A guy like Diego Pavia would extend plays but also look for WRs down the field who had lost contain...I didn't see that from AC.I hate to say who he reminded me of yesterday….Luke McCaffrey at QB. Seems as if he played a bunch of snaps. Dudes a fire plug. Seems they were bringing RVP in when they want penetration from the interior. What did you think of Stoudmire on D? I thought he was stouter than I expected.
Seemed to me like he was eating a double team on every dropback. Looked to me like he was getting a legit push. I’m interested to hear what somebody who really looked at the video of our D linemen thought.Seems as if he played a bunch of snaps. Dudes a fire plug. Eventually YouTube will have the full game of just plays. I heard Nwaneri and Jeremiah Jones were paired on passing downs in the second half. Whittington played less than he probably will going forward. RVP got a sack. A lot of guys played. I think that very first play soured the overall perception of the D.Seemed to me like he was eating a double team on every dropback. Looked to me like he was getting a legit push. He did a good job of not taking any big hits yesterday, tooGood runner but definitely not T Mart level good. Like his escape ability and ability to still complete passes down the field. That's gonna come with some bad decisions though. So as fans be ready to take the good with the bad lol. It's coming ...
Personally love that he seems to be a "real" leader. No make believe forced stuff cause he's a 5 star and the highest profile player on the team. I'll ride with him...

He’s going to make bad decisions and he’s also going to gamble and have some great luck. Raiola’s problem was that he couldn’t make a decision and that led to sacks. I think Colandrea just plays way better to Holgerson’s strengths as a play caller.Good runner but definitely not T Mart level good. Knowing how to get tackled/being slippery is a useful skill
And the two best guys to penetrate from the interior are Whittington and RVP. The next two games will be valuable to mix and match all those guys on the front 4 to see what combinations might look productive for league play. Was so happy to see Jones in the game. He has **** that you can't coach and you can see it. Our front group of guys at end are all designed more for the running stopping ability. Which I understand in the BIG. But if we are gonna get some legit pass rush off the edge it's likely gonna come from Jones and Williams Nwarneri. It's imperative that those two improve as the year goes in because we will need them.
