We never hire anyone who can't stay at a job for three years. Usually indicates a personality problem, a lack of purpose or direction, or refusal to commit to a company's effort for success.

Interesting...

He is of Palestinian descent. Mother is Pakistani.

Family was in San Diego when Iraq invaded Kuwait, which was their home. They stayed here.

Was a backup QB at Boise. Coached under Harsin (his position coach at Boise) at Arky State.

Longest stint was Washington. Various positions, but spent 4 seasons there from 2015-2019.

Was fired as Washington OC after 2019 bowl.

Anybody with a resume' like that in the real world of business would be a big red flag. I suppose with coaches its a little different but still.......................

Unless you get lucky and are an assistant under a long tenured coach you're gonna move around a lot. It's not like being an accountant.

He has had good offenses. Probably helps being in the Mountain West with Jeanty in the backfield.

"Bush Hamdan spent the 2023 season as the offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach at Boise State, guiding the Broncos to a tie for the regular season Mountain West championship then a dominating win in the Mountain West Championship Game, securing a bid to the LA Bowl.

In his first season guiding the Bronco offense, Hamdan has led an explosive unit that has had one of its most successful seasons in recent years. He guided the team to nine-straight games scoring 30 or more points, matching national semifinalists Michigan and Texas for the second-longest streak in the nation and the longest such streak for the Blue and Orange since 2011. The Broncos were second in the MW in scoring offense while ranking third in total offense."

It's funny to me when these kind of questions are asked here.

I mean I get it, I'd like to know the answer too. It's just that I've never gotten an indication that any poster here has the football knowledge to answer a question like this even kinda accurately.

But answers will come.

My answer is "Who knows, not me".

It rarely means any of those things in college football

assistants leave all the time
-Better jon opportunity
-head coach is fired so they are basically fired
-they get fired

So, "Associate Head Coach for Offense" is a euphemism for "Offensive Coordinator", or is it the other way around?

If his sole purpose is to work everyday to make Super Kamario into a consistently accurate passer and quick decision maker, and he does that, then it's a good hire to me.

Hell, if he's available, hire Will Rogers to live with Kamario, Mr. Miyagi style, until next football season. It seems like all the things Will was good at, KT needs. He's got all the stuff Will didn't have.
