The day that Ole Miss shows depictions of their final three mascots to choose from. What does a 17ing bear, or land shark have to do with those idiots? And, what the 17 is a Hotty and a Toddy?

This is all just a PR front. As Meoff has said this has been in the works for a while. No more confederate flag, Col. Reb, Dixie, Rebels, and Ole Miss. This is a major re-branding by the administration of The University of Mississippi. This is the next to last step, once they get the Bear, then they can go to the Mississippi Bears and do away with Ole Miss and the Rebels once and for all. It is coming in the next 5-10 years, got to be politically correct and all. I can't wait to see the new helmets and uniforms with the Bear..

My only surprise in all this is that NAFOOM is completely void of scoop on the subject. A few well informed sixpackers seen to know more about the direction of this thing than anyone else that's willing to post about it.
