Odds to win-Interesting

I was looking to see what the odds are for us to win this thing, and apparently the current odds aren't out yet. What I did find were the beginning of the season odds. We were tied for the 6th favorite to win it all. Take what you will out of that. I know that didn't take into account what would unfold early on, but based on last year and the talent we have, somebody thought we had a chance. Also, of note, 6 of the top 8 choices made it to Omaha. So, picking the CWS field vs the football championship may not be all that different.NCAA

And 7 of the top 9 made it with the only real outlier being washington which is pretty incredible.

They were ranked #8 in Collegiate Baseball, Baseball America & D1 Baseball preseason polls, were coming off a super regional last year, and just had 13 players drafted. Didn't look like a bad bet at all.
