Odds to win the West per ESPN CFB FPI

a win in T town makes it a lock. stranger things have happened, but i don't see losing to vandy this year in any of the scenarios.
And as I was just about to post how ridiculous I think the FPI is, they go and predict some thing good for us.
I, like everyone else, want to win the West first and foremost. But a victory, in and of itself, over Bama in their stadium with all the chips on the table would be one of the biggest (if not the biggest) accomplishments in the history of MSU athletics regardless of the other implications it would cause.
People can say what they want about ESPN but damn they have pumped us since last year. Starting with Jesse Palmer throwing out the dark horse Heisman comment and the talking heads never giving up on us.
A win at T town hangs partially on Dak, but more over on the turnovers. We can't have 3 or 4 turnovers in T town and expect to win. Saban is too good a coach for that.
My thoughts exactly. This is the game of the century if we win it. And luckily for us that means there will be the SEC championship game and most likely playoff games to top it in less than two months time. Simply an amazing opportunity for everyone associated with the program and school. I can't imagine the pressure our guys will be feeling.
Frankly it's higher than that. I'm sure their math is right but the team strengths that go into it are skewed bc of margin of victory. We are stronger than they think and Bama and OM are weaker.
