Would typically come out in the Summer and some around Christmas.
Name your … in the last 50 years the
Top 5 movies you’ve enjoyed and could watch over and over again.
Mine and not in any particular order. - I’m definitely sure I’m leaving some out/forgetting some - 5 is tough with all the great movies over the years but….

Tin Cup
Jaws
Caddyshack
Platoon
The Godfather

Watch over and over?

Dumb and Dumber
Billy Madison
Step Brothers
Club Dread
Varsity Blues

Zero correlation to what I think are the "best" movies but I've watched these movies a combined thousand times and will annoy the piss out of anyone watching with me bc I'm reciting every line.

Some solid options listed already, here's 5 that come to mind. If you ask me again tomorrow the list would look different but here ya go...

Django
Forrest Gump
Gangs of New York
Goldeneye (or pretty much any Bond movie)
Casino / Goodfellas

Forest Gump
Tombstone
Last of the Mohicans
Saving Private Ryan
Shawshank Redemption
This list is about as good as anything I could come up with. I’d like to substitute Christmas Vacation in for one of these around the holidays.

I am going to limit mine on movies I originally saw in the theater and walked out excited about and have subsequently watched many times since.

Apocalypse Now
It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World
Guardians of the Galaxy
Star Wars (IV)
Jaws

HM and I wanted a Western in there

Tombstone or Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid

Fargo
Star Wars....just the original, without any additional storyline
The Godfather...can throw in Part Two.
Pulp Fiction
Young Frankenstein

Rear Window is my favorite movie ever, but it came out before I was born. I dont know how many times I've seen it. Its on Netflix right now if anyone hasn't seen it.

In no particular order:

Casablanca
Tombstone
Pulp Fiction
Caddyshack
Die Hard

I could make a list out of any of the lists already here, great choices.

But Riva reminds me here of the greatness of Casablanca.

If you've never seen it because you don't like old movies or B&W movies or just because, do yourself a favor. Set aside less than 2 hours and sit down and really watch it. It's a masterpiece and in my mind the greatest movie of all time.

Can’t believe this hasn’t made the list yet:

Batman

Michael Keaton
Jack Nicholson
Kim Bassinger

Prince on the soundtrack. Gotta be in that top 5.

The Orpheum in Memphis occasionally does a summer movie series had Casablanca as one of their movies a few years back. See it on the movie screen if you get a chance.

They also had Rocky Horror Picture Show. Brought back lots of memories.

A lot good ones here I'd certainly stop and watch if I happen to come across them but the only 2 movies I've ever actually purchased to do so when the mood hit -
Animal House
A Few Good Men

Twist to the thread, movie(s) everyone has seemingly seen but you? I have several but Star Wars is probably the biggest. All these years and for no articular reason have honestly never watched a minute.

Pulp Fiction
Dazed & Confused
Fast Times at Ridgemont High
Tremors

For #5 I’d have to go with a series like MI or Bourne

Yes, I grew up in the 80s/90s

Outlaw Josey Wales and Cool Hand Luke are two that I rarely pass if I see that they are on.
