I would like to get Nance and Brunetti and possibly Broadway and convert him to wr if he didn't work out.

What say you?

Nash Nance
Brandon Doughty
Barry Brunetti
Terrance Broadway

Nash and Brunetti. (Not on our offer list, but...) Looks like our top gun camp is going to tell the tale on my boy Haggard. He went to a camp in Memphis a few weeks ago and was named co-MVP and did really well at the Southern Miss camp last weekend. Id kill to see him go to State, but Southern is probably a better fit for him.</p>

Doughty looks like the only think he is bad *** at is math homework, Nance looks like Brian Scalabrine's little brother and Terrance Broadway doesn't appear to have the arm that Brunetti has and apparently isn't that tough with all the injuries he had his junior year. Barry Brunetti has some serious offers also.

Any of these four are a marked improvement over anything Croom ever "recruited." I would like to see us sign two these guys and land Newton. This would give us Russell, Newton, Relf and two freshmen next year (one of which we could hopefully redshirt). Or not redshirt either freshmen and move Relf to somewhere other than QB.
I believe Brunetti was quoted as saying he isnt concerned whether a school that is recruiting him is also recruiting other QBs...that is the nature of college football. Brunetti is correct, but that hasnt been the nature of college football at State in a long time with respect to QBs.
You can never have too many capable QBs holding clip boards as far as I am concerned. See USC.

any of them. Depth = Success

but, I'd choose Brunetti and Nance.

Like BMT said though, I'm looking forward to Witt getting his shot. He may have to walk-on though at state which would be a tough situation if he gets an offer from Southern which is a good chance

...and while I can hope for Nash Nance as my #2, I think he goes to Duke or Vanderbilt. I think Broadway would be my #2.

Nash is apparently the top on State's radar from my "sources". But I don't like him, yet, because he's wearing Alabama t-shirts in a lot of his pictures. So, until that changes, give me Brunetti. Kidding, but not really.

Dirk Drake and Austin Awesome- I hear they have major talent.

It's too bad Starsky and Hutch already signed LOI's, I really wanted them.

Where on earth did these goofy *** names come from. OP4, I'm in agreement with you. These names remind me of some guys hauling *** in a speed boat, landing on the beach while something explodes and grabbing some big-haired woman and dragging her to safety, early 1990's style. As for sports related, I know nothing about them.

According to Rose Bowl, he has a raging hard-on for Ohio State. If they offer he's probably theirs, unless he buys in to Mullen's quarterback coaching background.

I was merely remarking that their names were ridiculous.

I'm with you, they could have the gheyest name in the world as long as they were good, it wouldn't matter to me.
