I've posted about this before, but it bears repeating. Especially since things are slow right now.

Its the off-season, folks. After a wild and successful 2010-2011 year in Bulldog Athletics, those cowbells need their 2 month rest before springing back to life Sept 1st against the UMSU Tigers.

During football season, FlabLoser rings his bell extra hard. Flab gets a little excited sometimes. He can't help it. Anyway, Flab is pretty rough on his cowbell. After about 2 seasons, the sides of the bell are hammered out about 1/8" from the clapper. And the clapper inside has taken a beating as well. Eventually, the eye on top of the clapper collapses, freeing the clapper from the rod extending from the top of the bell. Yep, the clapper fell out.

Well, FlabLoser is a resourceful one. He tracked down a place that can supply such parts for injured cowbells. Bell Outlet in Hillsville, Virginia of all places sells all manner of cowbell stuff. Except for the fan-rung kind, ironically enough. Their cowbells are more of the cow-rung. Like this..

Anyway, if you need clapper replacement, call them at 800-251-8824 and they can give you the clap. Just tell them what size your bell is and they can give you the right clapper.

FlabLoser got 3 clappers from them and they look just like Flab's original clappers.

And should they put you on hold, here's some nice piano music for you.
