<div class="messagebody">Will Renardo Sydney and Mississippi State now file suit against the NCAA for violation of Title 42 USC Section 1983, for violation of civil rights under color of law.
Folks last year there was an allegation that Renardo Sydney's father had asked for money for his son to attend college and he was suspended for the entire year. The allegations were never proven to be true.. MSU suspended him pursuant to the self reporting rules, and he sat the entire year.
Think about that for a second.
Cam Newton it is undisputed that Cecil Newton asked for money from MSU, It cannot be disputed that Auburn knew about this and the admission three weeks ago. He is suspended right after Auburn's two biggest games of the year and immediately reinstated.
Let's go one further. A few years ago, a high school player out of Memphis was recruited and signed with a major college. A graduate of another University gave the players High School Coach $120,000.00 and the player his family and his school knew nothing about it. (supposedly). That school got hammered with the loss of 25 scholarships, two years bowl sanctions and five years probation.
The NCAA would have had more street cred if they had done nothing.</div>
