and get people away from the football at the snap. The fewer people our line/TE have to keep up with and block, the better-- particularly when running the ball. I just think that out of all of our groups, o-line is the weakest and its seems that the best way to minimize exposure there is to spread the field a little more. I do agree with c-bus that our problems are far more personell related than any are giving credit for.

Who has the energy to debate any more? But we tried what you proposed against La. Tech and look where it got us. And let's just put an end to the Pegues on offense stuff. It's not going to happen. He is a senior with 7 games left and he is our starting Saftey, KO returner, and PR.

Our schemes and playcalling against LSU were fine. We had a good gameplan. Coaching let us down on special teams with all of the mistakes and of course the end of the half blunder by Croom which is becoming part of the game, just like officiating. Other than that, we were just simply outmatched talent wise.

If we play that style the rest of the year and Croom cuts out the gameday blunders (which is a huge if) then we have a chance to win 4 or 5 of our remaining games. And Les Miles makes mistakes but they seem to work out. Eventually, if Croom keeps making the wrong decision, you have to think one would turn out right just based on odds.

how many OL drafted over the last 5 years? I don't care WHICH offense you, me, Croom, Les Miles, or anyone else wants to run... if the OL can't do its part, points will not be plentiful. (Not to mention that's the unit that's been hit the hardest by injuries.)

Take care of the details (each player finishing his assignment) and the generalities(offensive success) will be fixed in the process.

BTW, which offensive players consistently "grade out" the lowest from game to game? Anyone have those grades? Has any of the media asked Croom about this? His "watch the tape to see if we're asking too much of our guys", indicates that the coaches might have an idea about who's performing and who isn't. (Lack of depth and inconsistency are huge hurdles to overcome.)
