As of now, would the loser of the battle at right tackle be the swing tackle, and also back up on the left side? Or is someone like Taj White going to be forced into action if something happens to Pierce? I would definitely not expect Dunlap to kick out like DiRenzo did last year.

At guard, is someone like Felter the backup left guard behind Dunlap?

I would expect yes, but also from what we saw from Felter in spring games and actual games in their careers, I think he has performed better than Asamoah and Ciaffoni. I am not at practice so maybe someone else can say definitively who has been the best guard. Is Felter too small, too slow, not strong enough, generally not good enough, why is he behind these other guys?

This.
I would actually be shocked if Felter is not starting or at least a strong #2 off the bench.
Recently watched some 2020 games and he played outstanding as a true Freshman on the OL in my opinion.
Not sure what the heck happened in 2 years and how he was been overlooked/ past over.

Schiano’s latest presser left me cautiously optimistic about this group. If he’s talking about finally having OL depth and talking about how terrible this group was 3 years ago and how far it’s come - that tells me he’s happy with what he’s seeing. Schiano isn’t usually one to sugar coat. We’ll see.

Everyone talks about KC but I think the biggest off season hire in terms of improvement for the team was Flaherty. I expect a big step forward from this group this year. Without that there's not much Kirk can do.
Edit: At least get the snap count right. False start penalties really hurt us last year.
