There isn't going to be a return to those days, IMO. It's too big to fail now. I would not expect a playoff run for the next 2 years but after that it could happen
We absolutely are not too big to fail.

Come off the ledge.Well, I can’t see this imbecile making it much further after completely nuking the football program in a matter of 6 weeks.
I don’t follow a lot of other ADs around the country, who we going after?
I think you underestimate how far a program can fall if they don’t have the right coach leading the way with recruiting, NIL, and the portal. This is BIG business + football and it is very cutthroat. If they hire the wrong guy, PSU football will sink like a stone. If Kraft would have handled this properly, this could have been more seamless and not been a total rebuild with playoff potential immediately. It’s going to be a total rebuild now. There isn't going to be a return to those days, IMO. It's too big to fail now. Sign in to Facebook or Instagram and take a look around. Kraft will be fired by Christmas. There have been a lot of retarded threads on this site over the years but this might be the most retarded. Unless you wanted a Kiffin situation this was always what was going to happen. Yes we are fans but to start a thread to fire the AD because he hasn't met your timeline for hiring a coach probably means you need to start taking your meds again. Guess what if he fired Franklin Sunday everything is still the same except Franklin wasn't hired by VT and none of the recruits would be signing on Wednesday they would be waiting for February to see how it all played out. Plus Kraft wouldn't have had interviews set up yet. If we end up settling you can complain all you want but settling probably means Terry is the coach. Until then NO ONE has any idea whats going on. Every single insider has been WRONG all along so sit back take a valium and relax.
Thanks for making my point.Sign in to Facebook or Instagram and take a look around. Kraft will be fired by Christmas.
Just who are we trusting to make the right decisions on that front.Well, I can’t see this imbecile making it much further after completely nuking the football program in a matter of 6 weeks.

You are factually wrong. Cignetti was an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for several power football schools, including Bama during the first championship year of their Saban run. Cignetti learned from the very best and saw how to run a top-tier program. Chesney has none of that at all. But again, Chesney is better than no coach, which is where our idiot AD sits now in his “search.”Neither did Cignetti and he took the best players with him to Indiana and left Chesney nothing and he has gone 20-5!
Chesney was THE hire but Kraft was to much of an idiot to see it. When UCLA kicks our a$$ over the next decade it will be clear Kraft screwed this up. EPIC FAIL.
I don't attach much weight to social media, but I'm all for that.Sign in to Facebook or Instagram and take a look around. Kraft will be fired by Christmas.
To hell with that, let them all jump.
Anybody who claims they know what Kraft is planning, or that he doesn't have a plan, is more full of **** than the average politician. That goes for people on here and in the media. There have been a lot of retarded threads on this site over the years but this might be the most retarded. But of course.Apparently Sandy was less toxic when dealing with Jimmy Sexton than Kraft . She just showed him the money . Todd McShsy- Now the skinny is Sexton won’t deal with Kraft and just using him to inflate salaries .![]()
No one’s jumping off the edge. It’s a comment board. My god! The whining! Make it stop!
My good people, it's football. Yeah, it's important, but it isn't THAT important. It is also NOT rocket science. Bring in the best kids you can find, develop them, coach them up, and strap on the pads. Let it play out and we'll all see what happens.
Step back from the edge of the abyss!
So Kraft’s critics should wait to criticize until he actually hires some one but you think he has done a masterful job before he has. Got it.If PSU ends up with Sitaki, Brohm, or Hartline that's a win IMO (also hear Key may still be in play - also a win IMO). I am particularly intrigued by Sitaki - was courted by Oregon and he turned them down. They worship him at BYU. He's 100% out of the box and off radar hire no one was talking about seriously for PSU until 48 days into a 50+ day long search. If it is him, I think we get a fresh new perspective and near sea change from the last HC/staff, and while that will come with challenges (recruiting mostly), also comes with some advantages (more West Coast ties). Mostly Sitaki does it on the field, which is really what matters. Since 2020 only these teams have won more games than BYU: Georgia, Alabama, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Michigan, and Clemson. Since 2020, BYU's record against ranked teams (Top 25) is 14-5. By comparison, PSU is 7-17.
Fell like Kraft has done a masterful job here; if not for the Latter Day Saints and the Crumbl Cookie guy, PSU would have their man and it would have been a solid A hire IMO. If Hartline is the backup, I like that a lot too. The doom and gloom here is wild.
