UK has no awareness where the ball even is on missed shots
If you told me we would beat Duke, UL, TN (x2), Florida, set a program record for most wins vs. top-15 teams, and make the Sweet 16 in the spring when Pope was announced as coach, I would have taken that with glee.
The future is bright. Pope will have more time and resources to build his team. I look forward to next year with great anticipation!

Poor effort but that’s the players he has this year. Average and underwhelming.
This team has quit. They stood there and watched a rebound bounce on the floor and didn't come up with it.
Fellas, this is a game where injuries clearly limited us. For both of our wins against UT, we had some key guys that were healthy.

Defense and rebounding is mostly about effort and toughness. UK left both of those in the locker room after the Illinois game.
Rebounding is mostly effort, something we are not giving. Simple as that. You can't watch a rebound land 2 feet from you.
This is two straight years where the game thread went away because the site went down because a bunch of morons from North Carolina and Kansas and wherever else have to come read what they know they're going to read.

Williams is so pathic that when he had a clear extreme size advantage right under the basket he passed out of it.
You cant sub Chandler for butler that early. You just cant.
Williams is 10x the rebounder of Garrison. Garrison cant get a board. Idk why but he cant.

Well we gave a good fight and effort and that's really all you can ask for.
They beat Kentucky in every game that matters. Who gives a crap about 2 regular season wins, when they beat you in the game that matters the most.
Every player can rebound, our coaches obviously aren't emphasizing it.
This is a complete lack of effort.
Pope’s teams have historically been solid on the defensive glass. That’s true for the season as a whole.
This is, however one of his worst offensive rebounding teams. Williams is ok on the offensive glass. Garrison and Carr have been bad for their position their whole career. We got poor offensive rebounders in the portal. That’s what it comes down to.
The first 3 minutes it was obvious we weren't ready.
It isn't about putting up with. What are your options. All of our bigs are sorry so who are you going to bring in.

I guess you forgot Pope took over a team with no one. Built a full roster in Spring. Lost Kerr and Jrob for the year and missed Carr and Butler a good bit.
Its year one and Pope had a l Iot to overcome. Some big wins, increased lead on KU and was exciting. Disappointing yeah, but being reasonable, not always our fans strong point, it was a solid year one.
