I know why he did not go but for a man that was so involved in his son's recruiting process it just seems to obvious that it was a calculated move for him not to go on the visit.

But, 17buam couldn't let it go. "Well as far as the NCAA, you're right. MState doesn't have anything to worry about. But, they might get kicked out of the SEC according to Slive's comments."<div>

Cam goes to Auburn...BY HIMSELF...comes back...and still wants to go to State. But, I guess Cecil felt like the trip went a little better than Cam did.

had allowed him to cover for Auburn. He obviously did not want it reported to the NCAA.

Yep, that's the feeling I get also. If the schools were reversed and we were in Auburn's position, we would already been on probation and kicked out of the SEC. When all is said and done, I hope the following occurs:

1. Mississippi State is completely exonerated.
2. Auburn is put on probation for years.
3. Cecil goes to jail.
4. Slive loses his job.
5. Trooper Taylor is banned from ever working in college football.
6. Every Auburn win is vacated this year.

He's totally changed his position, mentioning that State compliance officials were overwhelmed with basketball and other issues during this past year.

I bet he would do well as a spokesman for HairCare for Men.

Don't they sell rugs?

Someone should tell his agent to go make the introduction. As a born salesman, he'd do a great job for them.

Some of our attorneys called up the executives of the show to warn them that they may be flirting with libel a little too much with the Megan Mullen stuff. That stuff was just crossing the line.</p>

Yesterday we were the punks of the SEC that need to be shown the door. Now he is giving us the benefit of the doubt. He might know something new especially since he brought in the ex US Attorney and had him on for two hours.

I don't think Finebaum really believes we're screwed by the NCAA or SEC, regardless of what he says on air. It's ALL part of his MO. We're already seeing a gradual reversal on the "down with State" mantra. As the evidence against AU comes out, he'll eventually be full on bashing Auburn and putting us back in the clear. Right now, he's working the "State is screwed" angle to play to his Auburn audience. He knows they're screwed, and he knows we're in the clear. He always has. But putting all the facts/things that make sense out there on the front end will have half of his state turning off their radios. He may be a jackass, but he's a smart jackass when it comes to his job.

He is ONLY concerned about his ratings. He doesn't care if we're innocent or not. He doesn't care if Cam is innocent or not. he only cares about the number of people listening to his voice for 4 hours a day. Nothing else.
