As many have made mention on the post game rehashes, the Sooners probably will not meet as talented QB as Houston’s King. No offense to Ehlinger, but King is capable of many things. OU defense did a decent job in keeping him more or less muted. I can see this defense getting stronger as the conference play happens. The adage iron sharpens iron applies to the progress of this defense. Play with energy and play hungry...and good things will happen.

Good post.
Having watched the game again today, I feel the hot sticky weather on the field ultimately had a negative impact on the defense....considering having to chase King around all day. I had a big sigh of relief when Stephenson scored the final touchdown.
UCLA may also be played in similar weather, but their quarterback is very average and doesn't run like King or Ehlinger.

One more game next week and I will be home for all others. The issue is very poor network in Nigeria. I will be in Dubai by Saturday and will listen on Tune-In radio. I will attend many more games this year than in the past. I am winding down and stepping out of the day to day efforts of my company by year end. Thanks for the offer Veritas!!!

You're welcome, and glad to hear you'll be home soon. Wish I could could hook up with you guys in LA.
