yeah it was sloppy as hell.

WCS doesn't utilize his athleticism on offense, also even on defense sometimes. He's way too far back from the outside shooters... Of course, i think WCS played fine. Just thought he could even take a step up in his playing.

Davis would block that **** every day, btw.

Andrew still looks confused what to do in the paint. he does an excellent job getting to the paint...but terrible job execution. Even the one he got fouled. He does a spin when he get's fouled and does a weird *** shot hoping he went in. If he had went straight up, he probably made an easy and-1.

Just a weird game to this point... unlike the Ole Miss and A&M... I have no fear of losing but its definitely not pretty. That Jones kid is going to be a stud though, why is he at Vandy? Playing for the Doosher King

I guess the flop refers to Booker's cheek flesh flopping about his face as he took that shot. Looked like the slow motion footage from a Rocky movie or raging bull.

wasn't just a mugging underneath. Did you guys notice they were fouling us on many jump shots as well by touching the arm or body checking us during the shot. I suppose the official just thinks Andrew Harrison and Aaron Harrison just miss shots that badly because they suck ??

How is it a "flop" as Darrin Horn just stated when the Vandy kid knocks Booker down with the elbow????
But remember, he doesn't dislike Kentucky at all. In fact, he loves Kentucky! He's just trying not to show it.

Mmhmm, mmhmm.

Not using this as an excuse, but the crowd at Rupp can be absolutely embarrassing at times. They have less energy than Dakari has vertical when the Cats aren't on a 100% role. I don't understand how a fan-base as passionate as the BBN can be as quite/tame and offer absolutely NO home court advantage. I dislike UL as much as anyone, but their fans can certainly bring the noise, and not just when they are rolling. I know the blue-hairs provide the funds, but UK has to find a way for Rupp to bring the noise even if the Cats aren't at their best.

I wanna snatch him baldheaded - little skinny white guy with this little mask on his little weasel face - getting calls cause they feel sorry for his little sorry self

But other than that, the game feels meh - not good, not bad, just....there. No doubt Cats win, but....
We know Bev, and we agree. :)

As many turnovers and blocked shots as UK caused they gave Vandy too many 2nd chance points and had too many stupid turnovers themselves.

I don't keep track of stats but Cats have to have more turnovers than Vandy and few 2nd chance points or assists

We played well for a few minutes. Looking at the stats, there is no reason for Vandy to even be close. The biggest thing seems to be turnovers in the paint. Vandy is playing physical and fouling a lot.

Is there no music in Rupp to pump up the crowd? I haven't heard anything during the timeouts. Whole game just seems meh...

Johnson has to change the way he receives passes and makes his moves. 1.5 yrs in now and he's still bringing the ball down the his waist, bending over, and barely getting an inch off the ground. If he isn't getting his shot blocked, he's getting it stripped. His best move by far is when he gets the ball on the block on the left side, drop steps and lays it off the glass. He is very good at that. Everything else, not so much.

More Lyles mid-range jumpers, and please for the love of God, run something to get Booker open!

Aaron has put himself in the dog house. Hope he brings it in the 2nd half.

The bald ref & the black 1 have called a foul just about every time we get a finger tip on a Vandy player... yet there has to be major contact for there to be a whistle on Vandy. That being said.... we're NOT helping ourselves AT ALL w/ our lack of intensity. Seems like after the 1st 3 min, we just stopped caring.

1. It's Vandy.
2. They stink.
3. Cats are playing crappy.

wondering if part of the problem tonight is that they're looking forward to revenge on Saturday?

No excuse at all, of course - shouldn't be a reason, but it's a thought

I was always taught to keep the ball chin high and sweep across to clear the ball. Keeping it up high reduces the risk of a strip b/c, most likely, guys are going to hit your arm and foul.

I agree with this to a degree, but the problem is a risk of flagrant foul if he keeps it high. B/c reaches/hacks/slaps aren't called enough, guys get up underneath the bigs. If a big keeps the ball high and sweeps through, the elbow is likely to contact the defender.

Honestly, with the way the game is officiated now, I'm not sure what the bigs should do.

We don't have the look tonight of a team capable of putting on the gas. May be a grinder/nail-biter to the finish.

Playing to our competition and going through the motions is going to catch up with us eventually, surprised it hasn't. Dakari must get 3-4 shots blocked a game, Lee gets driven against twice a game.
