I am tired of watching the same bricklayers come out game after game without giving anyone else a chance. Why have some of the other players if you are not going to give them a chance? They certainly can't do any worse than the current bricklayers on the court. Does this team even work on shooting in practice?
I'm beginning to wonder if there isn't some basic flaw with this team. Chemistry? Effort? I don't know
Ulis and Lee have a combined 13 points and are 5 of 6 from the floor. The rest of UK is 2 of 13
They're shooting so well because AGAIN, just like the UCLA game you see a team shooting wide open jump shots. It's just practice for OSU right now. Where the heck is our defense?
Bucks are on fire and that makes us rush and look bad.....a long ways to go. Keep it under 10'at half.
Getting destroyed by a team that lost to Texas-Arlington and Louisiana Tech. UConn ran them out of the gym last week too.
Skal and Lee will get thrown around like ragdolls all year and Poythress still can't finish underneath. Guard play will improve but our frontcourt isn't good.
This team has no identity. It's easy to see. They play as individuals.
And yes, this IS the problem with our approach. You can't see this type of thing coming w/the OAD. We've been fortunate, and I still believe in this team, but it is what it is.

The positives far outweight the negatives. Anyone can cherry pick a few losses over any coaches career. You probably will ignore all the numerous more good adjustments he has made in his 83% wins at UK.
We've got 7 minutes to get it closer at the half and find some fluidity on offense. Otherwise we'll have a deep hole in the 2nd half.

Our offense is atrocious. It looks as bad as our 4th year with Goodwin. To top it off we don't play defense and can't box out to rebound. A damn shame that we're playing crap because we actually play if they really want to. I think at this point its all mental.

The offense is just painful to watch. No flow, no spacing and try to force things that aren't there. However, I do not think that OSU can keep up this shooting the entire game.
I feel terrible for all the UK fans who travelled to watch this travesty.
Now the problem becomes defense and they're still nowhere near good enough defensively to get the stops needed coupled with this horrendous offense. Just terrible.

Just not going to happen this year. Murray isn't as good as we thought and Skal is an all-out bust. That's hard to overcome.
I remember when UK fans would make fun of Dean Smith for all the talent that ran through Chapel Hill and only got two NC's over it.. Right now Cal is Dean Smith. It's up to you to decide if that's a good thing or not.
