I think Travis may learn that playing in the SEC is a totally different animal than playing in the PAC12.

Yeah, but we aren't playing against SEC opponents yet. He also has the benefit of being on a deep and talented top 2 team this season (maybe #1). He doesn't have to do as much here and should let the game come to him and just be part of the flow.

I don't know guys, but I'm starting to question whether Travis is the player we were told. Doesn't look like a post player at all to me.

These games mean nothing. He’s an old dog so it’s gonna take longer for him to fit and reinvent his game. If we re in mid December or january then this statement may have merit. It’s AUgust though. This isn’t even preseason.

I agree. Maybe the PAC12 is barely above high school level. He dominated in PAC12 play, but that's not something that below the rim players are typically capable of.
He's good, but not dominant and SEC teams are going to go right at him.

is reid travis still nervous?

Yeah. Can you not tell? His mind goes 1,000 mph when he gets the ball. His hands are moving way too fast, and he keeps losing the ball because of it. Freaks out during his post moves too. Someone give him a Valium.

Can hardly wait to see what EJ can contribute to this team.
Yeah, we can't forget about EJ. He is, what, a top 7 recruit? Put him in with Richards and/or Travis and you've got some serious rim protection.

i think he will be solid, but I believe he will struggle against the athletic big men in the SEC!

I may have misheard him, but did Greenberg just say we weren't good enough to get to the final 4?

Thru all 4 games when Quick is on the floor vs Hagans it is a glaring difference as Hagans cant run a college team yet at all.

I am glad this is a close game though as these guys need a challenge as they havent really had one on this trip. Also I seriously doubt we ever see Quick go 0-4 from 3 in a game again. Much to good of shooter to do that much. All good shots though so keep shooting .
