Well, we woke up. And yeah, I think Divencinzo is a good comparison for Herro.
Yeah most of the white guy comparisons have been pretty bad for Herro ( as he is nothing like Kennard ) but Divencinzo is a great one . A great athlete who can handle the ball , defend and shoot lights out . Herro has a much more versatile game and is a better prospect then him but it is a great comparison.

Anyone else waiting for when some team tries to zone us this year and Cal responds with Herro, Quade, and Baker on the floor?
I hate that Baker could not play in these games. Was really looking forward to watching him shoot the ball. Hopefully they are just playing it safe with him and he will be ready when season starts. You can never gave enough good shooters.

Hagans has a ways to go as a pg on offense but good lord he has some great moments on defense. Steals just come to him due to his intensity. Does need to stay home a little more at times and not gamble in the half court but that will come in due time.
Herro has been.....Herro, it’s not even the scoring that impresses me it’s the poise and patience as well as the good decisions

Reid isn’t as good as I thought he’d be but he fits a role with his rebounding and strength to wear other players down as well as his potential to get players in foul trouble

Quade is doing what I said he would during the summer when some said he should come off the bench, his jumper from deep and midrange spaces the floor

I need to see Herro meet a guy at the rim who is trying to dunk and manhandle him before I say he's up there with Dante.
That kid is crazy athletic and a dead eye shooter. He had eye popping performances in the dance last year.
If Tyler does anything close toto what Dante did, we have #9.

I wouldn’t count on seeing him much, he has already had two knee surgeries and is having knee problems now. Hope he heals and can play eventually

Hagans is such a baby face. Looks soooo young. We’ve got such a good group of young men.

"ALL CAPS Exclamation mark, exclamation mark, exclamation mark."...Take this team and crown them. They are a team. They may or may not win it all but this team is a team.

All solid points.
Looks like some tough times at Maryland right now huh?

BBN needs to relax about Travis. He will be fine. Just stop!!! This isn’t even preseason and he’s a transfer trying to fit into a new team! He’s not a role player! He will be a stud and it’s evident! Just stop!
I think your right. I was just stating obvious that he was playing timid in August games. He will however have to pick it up and I like you believe he will.

This team is so incredible deep. People that keep on talking about Baker being an impact player might be a bit in left field IMO though. The guy is way behind and appears injury prone to an extent for someone his age. I think his best case this season is a Mulder type role and play 5-6 mins a game and jack up 2-3 3s per game and give us 1-2 3's a game.

agreed!
He's so used to having to do most of it on his own he's forcing it a bit. He'll relax - it's obvious the skill and tenacity are there

That was a 3rd year Dante you're comparing to a freshman who has been on campus 9 weeks.

Remember too he’s a 40 min guy last year. He will adjust. If he were a Full time guy at uk he would wear everyone defending him down and take over down the stretch

Lol not many or I haven’t seen anyone say Reid Travis is garbage . Most are just talking about his trouble finishing around the rim which he is struggling at right now .

Nothing wrong with pointing that out
