Why doesn’t Cal run the baseline screen back and forth play for Herro? He has ran that play every year for Aaron Harrison, Malik Monk, Kevin Knox, etc

What is the offensive upside based on from what you’ve seen in college. He looks like he has the least upside than the other guards on offense, his handles are shaken, can’t shoot, decision making is slow
Quickness. Balance. Athleticism. Things you can't teach.

Quade always looks better against weaker competition. We really need him to make baskets when we are struggling against the better teams we'll play later on in the year. Hopefully these early games against the lower level teams will build his confidence.

I think that's true for most players. Quade had some big games last year. He'll never be our best player but I feel comfortable when the ball is in his hands. I haven't quite gotten to that level with anyone else on the team thus far. That's important.

Did I see Herro run the point for a short stretch in the first half? That would provide some more line up flexibility could play the point. Something like Herro, KJ, PJ, EJ, and Reid.

I’m not sold on Quade, Hagans, or Quickley at this point. Hoping one of them will show improvement.

Pure talent is winning this game.

I still don’t get how UK is so sloppy on D.

Our transition game still leaves a lot to be desired. If we shore that up that could be really big for us.

That’s not good then since he was already 19 so he would have been coming in as a 20 year old freshman who would have turned 22 before the end of his freshman year

How can a player come in at 20 and leave the same basketball season at 22? Are you saying if he had come here next year?

Either way. He reclassified.. Meaning he skipped a year of HS ball. That matters. More than simply being 18 or 19.
