Our guard play is pretty encouraging actually I think the key is to bench Travis. KJ will have better days
MVP goes to Hagans because of defense and assist to turnover ratio compared to Herro.

I guess any win is a good thing, but that performance wasn’t exactly inspiring. We’re almost half way through the regular season and I’ve seen very little improvement overall. We’ve picked up a couple of good wins, but we’re just not playing well right now. Yes, I’m concerned. We just don’t play hard all the time.
You know beating the spread is pretty much a 50/50 proposition, right? It isn’t the mark of failure to miss it.
He gets more shots because he hunts them. KJ needs to be doing more of that. Although he didn't shoot the ball well tonight..
Pretty sure they hate the guy that made the half court shot, or the refs for being lame and putting time back on the clock...then Cal.

Refs never changed a Three to a Two from first half. It was blatantly obvious...that sucks for spread too.
It’s baffling. Lucky bounces, circus shots, blown rotations, and sheer dumb luck. Happens every single game. So frustrating but we have to be ready for it.
The only good news is the guard play and taking their best shot and winning by double-digits. Got out rebounded again and of course defense has to be the bad news. The effort and passing by the starters is extremely mixed and that's putting it nicely.
Gotta get away from the switching. Great when you have all world athletes like AD and Cauley-Stein. Not so much with our bigs now. This team could be good defensively. Have to have the energy and it has to be on the ball pressure.
Did anyone catch Avery Johnson and Bama celebrating like they won the national championship in the locker room after they beat us?

right now they think they can pick the games they want to show up for.
A few things learned tonight: Herro has to be in the game and he should get the most shots.
I don't care that he made some mistakes. KJ is pulling a Miller/Monk and is disappearing too much. Herro is the only Alpha so far. Don't care how bad his defense is.. If we can't make shot and spread opponents, it won't matter what we do on defense.
I get what you are saying, but jeez, some of these shots that our opponents make...there’s nothing you can do. Just flat out circus shots.
UK is ranked in the bottom 5% of college basketball for 3 point defense. That’s not circus shots, it’s piss poor defense and awful game planning.
