My public-school education didn't prepare me well for message-board communication.
I think the LSU-Mississippi State series is closely analogous to the Alabama-Ole Miss series. Just as Ole Miss usually loses to Alabama no matter how competitive the game should be, LSU almost always has State's number. Exhibits 1-A and 1-B are the 1998 installations of both series.
Thus, Alabama 28, Ole Miss 7 means LSU 28, Mississippi State 7.

I think but am not sure that we're the smallest school in the new 6A classification. I wonder if consolidation with WC will ever be considered seriously? Vicksburg's coach mentioned it as a possibility in the WC-VHS chapter of that book on Mississippi high school rivalries.
