Up to 14 in Bart, who now projects us at 14-6 in conference.
14-6 gives us a legit shot to win the B1G Regular season title, something that if uttered out loud just a few short years ago would have a person committed.

I just want to have a game that doesn’t eliminate us before the real games start.
If we were 3-0 on the B1G like we should be we would now be a trendy big ten champion pick.

I know a couple teams will miss it from just piling too many losses in conference. The Big 12 is way ahead of everyone and only has the Big12/SEC challenge midseason left won't damage the conference.

NCAA site has their own as well.
Definitely think Wake and Seton Hall get into Quad 2. So many great Quad 1 road opportunities and Quad 2 home and away ones as well. Our resume will be really strong. Like at least 6 seed strong.
i prefer Nolan because he also does the team sheets and you can actually view all the team sheets on one page
I think some efficiency issues, stuff like the 107-105 Cornell win do not help. 18 point loss to Maryland, maybe not being efficient as they could vs Lafayette and St Francis.
6 seed or better greatly increase chances of getting to sweet 16..
Getting an 8or9 puts RU in path for a #1 seed in the second round. This can be an advantage too, as team they face will not have much time to prepare..
My guess, as committee also likes storyline matchups, is if RU gets an 8or9, it will be in Albany, with UConn as a likely second round opponent..

Texas lost to K-State so we could possibly jump them to 14 to as well but that's far more questionable. K-State was 27 so they're not chopped liver.
RU officially up 1 spot to #15 in NET. Zags and St. Mary's are just ahead of us and Texas fell to 12.
It definitely points out some issues with the metrics though. Playing down to bad teams should not be weighted as heavily as winning the games.
The NET is just a tool. The committee takes this into account which is why Rutgers made it despite the horrid NET last year. If they seeded the field right now Miami would be a 2 or 3.
Right. And we would not be a 4 or 5. Deservedly so.

I agree..its very flawed....and like the RPI system before the switch to the NET schools have figured out how to thake advantage of it
Another system that loves Rutgers is the Torvik rankings. Since 12/1, which includes the losses to Ohio State and Seton Hall, they have Rutgers ranked 5th with the #1 ranked defense.

Wake goes from 78 to 79 with the loss at UNC, no real effect.
SHU from 89 to 90, again no real effect.
Miami drops from 35 to 39 with the loss at Georgia Tech.
Duke down from 16 to 24.
Illinois is still at 47 but there's trouble in that team right now. They are in big danger of losing a home game to Wisconsin this weekend.
