Official Playoffs????

So I keep checking the VHSL site to see if they have posted or updated the final standings and it seems as if they haven't. What do the expect teams to do, go off of unofficial rankings posted to preps? Seems like they would have done something by now, but then again it is VHSL.

Supposedly, they are supposed to come out today. But it's the VHSL so...

they're out. I've been under the impression for some time that the schools know Sat. and have time to complain/challenge before the "official", public release. You should have seen the Tenn. msg boards the past few years - TSSAA did a "reveal" webcast/radio show Sat. at noon or so, and it had mistakes, and armchair pairings gurus would post about it and call the TSSAA and tell them, and the TSSAA had to release a "revised" bracket that evening. I don't think I've seen, maybe 1 revised Va. bracket in, I don't know, 10 years, This is one of the few things the VHSL does right.

of course, VHSL does an "updated" release when they get all the times/dates in.

I feel bad for all those Eastern Shore teams that have to make the long trip.
