It was a regular season game. Not a scrimmage. The regular season and the playoff matter. Today's game is simply a reward for those that want go participate.

We went 6-6 (3-6) and many want to believe today's game should be something people care about. I mean, we have to accept it for what if is. We got some great extra practice time and the younger guys that practiced hard all year get an opportunity.

Win or lose...it doesn't matter.

This bowl is pointless as there are too many bowls so they take poor teams. What about the Peach Bowl a few years ago?

The fans are the ones getting screwed given the money they put out to the program. Fan support drives the players having top facilities and support to let them develop to have a chance at the NFL. Yet, the fans wanting to see players play, are the ones that are called selfish and villainized.

I don't think the fans are being screwed. We know (or should) what these games are now. When opt outs first started I could have understood the anger but the expanded playoff even made bowls less important. Don't pretend Clemson and Penn State both wouldn't have opted out if the powers that be didn't want the money.
Honestly, the bowls either need to cease to exist or people just need to accept them as scrimmages that allow the younger kids a chance to play.
