PSU challenges the call (a mistake), and they lose that challenge

IU takes over on the PSU 22

1st: incomplete, but multiple flags. PI on King Mack, at the PSU 10

1st: complete, and tackled at the 1
2nd: run up the middle, and a TD is awarded

now being reviewed

Call is confirmed

1st down: Kaytron between the tackles for 3

2:00 minute warning before the 2nd down play

2nd & 7 (from their 25): Grunk looks to pass, then scrambles, and is tackled for a 1-yard loss

3rd & 8: dumps it to Kaytron, he barely gains much, he fumbles as he's tackled and IU recovers. He was really close to being down, but the replays seem to indicate his knee had not yet touched. It looks as though as he was going down, the ball hit the helmet of the guy that was tackling him (from behind), which caused the ball to squirt free. smh
If it was Oregon, Kaytron would have been ruled down.

It is so hard to believe the Penn State is actually trying to compete and win. They are so freaking inept.

If you depend on devine intervention to win, you're going to lose a lot of games.
Yup. This program has no clue how to win games especially against better competition. We continually do stupid things and we obviously can't fix stupid.
You also can't win if you don't have a passing game and when your defense does everything it can to help the opposing offense.

We play stupid because we have stupid coaching. The lack of coaching shows up on almost every play.

It's one of those quick passes where the receiver gets a step on the defender and the QB throws before pressure can arrive.

PSU prefers to have their QB drop back and take their time surveying the field.
None of that computes. “Step on the defender”? “Before pressure can arrive”?

Our coaching staff is still just so terrified of mistakes. What is there to lose against the #2 team? Our defense will be on the field for 35 min + again and we have to score points. I’m so sick of just shortening the game and only losing by 3 scores.

Grunk is 9/11 for 90 yards. Half of that is on one play.

Throw. The *******. ball.

You're at home. Nothing to lose. Against the #2 team in the country. Throw the ball down field!
