Have you even watched the last two games? The only TD drives have been with Singleton in and making key plays. The announcers were stunned last week that PsU went away from the repeatedly successful outside runs with Singleton. Today, same thing. Did you stop watching midway through the season?
If you're trying to argue Nick is better you lost that argument a long time ago

Collins was playing the man & not the ball. He was behind the receiver.

generally, when the D blitzes, the outside CBs are in man. And they are taught to not let the guy get behind them, for obvious reasons.

Mendoza threw the ball where Becker had a chance to go up and get it, or it would be an overthrow.

I don't fault Collins for anything he did on the play

Wow, can't believe no flag there - PSU caught a break on that one. Not that the contact was that significant, but PSU d-back was playing the receiver and not the ball. Could have easily been called imho.

One of the more amazing things about this game is that Allen is only out-carrying Singleton, 9-6.

Andy Kotelnicki INSISTS on calling Singleton's number. BTW, Kaytron is averaging 2.3 yards per carry to Singleton's 1.2. Same as it's been all season, and our offensive coordinator is the only one who doesn't seem to get it.
Great call.

1st: pitch to Singleton, he gets to a tad short of the LOS, flag on the play. Offsides IU, so half the distance to the goal
1st: Singleton for no gain
2nd: TD, Singleton!!!!

Good thing that worked, because it sure wasn't the smart decision trying to force Singleton instead of letting Allen grind out the short yardage situation.
