Not the last couple of weeks, or in my opinion the previous two years. It will be interesting who gets drafted when and how well they each do in the NFL.

Grunk has seemingly grown comfortable throwing middle ... as long as there isn't pressure. It'll be interesting to see what if happens if IU brings heat if he still makes good decisions/throws.
And, yes, you NEED to have Singleton in there ... as you've needed him in there all season long. You can't just rely on Allen, even though he's having a good season. Singleton brings WAY too much to the table to essentially bench him.

But the more productive player on a given day should get the lion’s share of the carries.
Normally you’d feel pretty good about that. This year, not so much.
My favorite was the one about the X-fer receivers being a complete failure.... Pena has 5 catches for like a 100 yards - yeah, that's just awful... [insert eyeroll].

Remember way back when after a big play they'd chuck one downfield? The handoff to 13 was a drag. That said, 13 just got us a first down.

Allen is clearly the better back. NS just ran 59 yds and he was gassed.
Which has nothing to do with who's the better player in college
They need this so bad. They can shock the nation today. And the sad thing is: they could've been playing this way all season. Needed to play Allen more vs. Oregon. Needed to call a more aggressive passing scheme using the middle of the field at mid-range all season long.

Singleton's receiving ability likely gets him drafted first
1st: Singleton and Allen in the backfield, and it's a throw to Rappleye, who rumbles for 9 1/2 to the 25
2nd: Kaytron for 2 or 3 for the 1st down
Ball on the IU 21
1st: Kaytron with a pitch to the 14. 2nd & 3
2nd: flag, false start by PSU. PSU was going tempo, and somebody went too early
2nd: 2 & 8 -- pass to Singleton, and he rumbles into the endzone!!!
