3rd and 5 and ran Singleton for 1 yard. It never gets better.
this one was for Franklin they said, guess they didn't like him all that much
AK's play calling when the game is on the line is the worst I've ever seen in my life

This coaching staff got what it deserved. There is very little worth carrying over.
1st & 10 at their own 43:
1st: Kaytron runs for 3 yards
2nd: Grunk completes a pass to Allen for 2 yards (good tackle by Iowa -- Kaytron looked to have space)
3rd: Singleton picks up 1 on a rush
4th & 4
PSU calls TO
4th: Iowa blitzes, Grunk heaves it downfield toward Pena, but it's an INT
Grunk really did a great job to avoid being sacked, but couldn't find somebody to pass to

Just take play calling duties off him--they won't fire him but someone else could call the plays
Amazing the 3 big plays were all QB runs for 40 yards, a QB TD, and a 60 yard QB run. Knowles just can’t figure that thing out.

AK is going on game day next week to say he was fired 15 min before the team meetinf
I mean, Iowa went 75 yards on two plays for a TD with 5 mins left in the 4th QTR while down by five. That’s this season in a nutshell. Highest paid assistant coach in all of ncaa sports, and the defense has given up 4th QTR or OT leads in four straight games.
Very winnable game slipped away. I liked the effort and somewhat better play calling but a few of the offense calls were questionable. Defense laid down at the end.
Can anyone hazard a guess as to why the ball was given to Singleton on 3rd and 5?

Honestly….the play calling is horrendous. Why is Singleton in with the game on the line? Just like last week. This coaching staff never learns.
Of course Iowa celebrates like they just knocked off the Buckeyes. They manage squeak one out with the worst QB performance they will face in a 4 year cycle.
3rd and 5, take out the bell cow Kaytron for bum Singleton and get stuffed? Dance who you came with!
How many times over the last decade has PSU squandered 4th quarter leads when playing as the underdog? It’s unreal and entirely consistent.
Franklin is long gone but his coaching hires still keep kicking me in the shins.
