Franklin is such a bad in game coach. Horrible.

Crap, we only took 2 timeouts into the half. Franklin probably thinks we'll only get 2 to start the second half. Also, I thought it was a good strategy to call the timeout with 3 seconds till half ad than take a knee. He was able to keep their defense out there a little longer so maybe they'll get tired.
Clifford can be serviceable. Franklin appears to inspire so little. He can have 22 5 star starters and he still won't get it done. Until then, he just complains that we don't have this or that to get the 5 star guys... How about he try winning?

Offense with one good drive in the first half, a lot of stalls, once again relying on the D to pitch a shutout. Not exactly a formula for success.
Franklin gets paid 6 million a year to not even try for 3 points with 3 timeouts left? And he has the gall to want everyone in state college put on notice that he’ll take his ball go somewhere else if they don’t fork over another 100 million for facility improvements .

Maybe he is trying to take it easy on his buddy since Penn State has such a commanding lead in this blowout.
Either Franklin already has one foot out the door or he’s just not a very good coach. Regardless, it’s not a good outlook for Penn State.
We had a fragile situation. We had a few players who could not get hurt. Clifford and PJ were at the top of the list.
Since JF has been here we have only been successful on offense with QB being major part of run game. We now have QB who cannot run and cannot throw. I bet right now if you ran a competition on the this team to see who could throw the longest pass, Clifford might not be in the top 5. We do not have a backup QB so no fix.
This. I was flabbergasted they didn't call a TO after making the last first down.
